The winter season has come to us and what better way to warm up with a glass of a glass of hot chocolate, milk with cocoa, and a piece of coca de llanda
Coca de llanda is a sponge cake made on an oven or aluminum plate - hence the llanda -, and is decorated with sugar and cinnamon and when cooked a crust forms.
It is a typical Valencian sweet, which accompanies many of the snacks, also perfect for breakfast-, always accompanied by a shot of mistela or some liquor, a glass of hot chocolate, milk with cocoa, horchata or, why not, without more. There are even those who eat it with an ounce or bar of chocolate.
